    GM universal home remote?

If I purchase a vehicle with Universal home remote....

I dont have a garage door to open... as my garage is behind a gate.
But I would at least like to use the darn feature Im about to pay for...

is there anyone out there that has/is using this vehicle home remote--- to lets say turn on lights inside house as you pull in?
Does anyone make such modules that you can plug into outlet and power up lights-
Maybe power up external path lights?

Im interested in a 2010 Traverse....
I want Bluetooth and Remote start... for 2009- you can get these separate...
But for 2010--- these are now part of the Personnal Convenience packet... so if you want bluetooth-- you need to get the package. this package comes with Bluetooth, Remote Start, and Homelink....
I wanted 2 of those... so I guess I end up with Home link--- may as well put it to good use.
I think Ill be able to connect some of those low voltage perimeter lights to light up the outside when I come home...

No problem, glad I was finally able to give some useful advice.

BTW, when you get all set up don't forget to post some pictures.

The HomeLink Lighting Kit on that page looks like an X10 lighting module with a HomeLink receiver. If you are adventurous enough, you can probably mix and match that with the much broader range of X10 home "automation" products available from various vendors.

You're probably right, I bet all these products have dip switches on them to change the frequency.
