Where did you get this?

Joe Biden isn't doing his part for the environment.
And I want to know what Rudy Giuliani drives.

I'll bet anyone that Dennis Kucinich is the only one of the bunch to have operated a motor vehicle in the last 5 years.

I know Hillary bragged (?) years ago that she and wet willie had forgotten how to drive, they've been so important for so long that they are chauffeured everywhere by the serving class stiffs.

I agree with you, most probably don't drive. Driving requires judgement, reactions, planning, responsibility, obeying most of the rules most of the time...and most senators and reps don't do those things most of the time.
Kucinich reminds me of Nader, and Nader has never driven.

I'd be interested in the source of this.

He missed a couple:

Rep. Tom Tancredo: Police Package Impala with Border Patrol accessories.
Rep. Ron Paul: Buick Park Avenue Ultra SC (doctor's car).
Gov. Mike Huckleberry: 1976 Chevy pickup truck, straight 6/3-on-the-tree.

I guess this kills the idea that Mercurys are chick cars.

If he knows how to drive, he probably navigates a yellow Crown Vic with 95,000 miles on it and lots of dents.

Re: Cars of the Candidates

That's pretty cool that Biden has a C2.

When a high-profile presidential candidate says that they "drive" a hybrid compact SUV, I get skeptical. I imagine it just means that they bought one for the image benefits. It likely sits at their home largely undriven while they get chauffered around, while accompanied by private security.

I'm not insinuating that it's neccessarily practical for these people to be driving themselves or for them to be unaccompanied by security personnel, but I do respect the ones who don't attempt to put on airs as if they are "everyman" by saying that they "drive an Escape".

That extra level of pandering to the public seems very transparent to me, and I'd like to think that they respect the public enough to know that people likely aren't fooled by such statements.

Re: Cars of the Candidates

Here's the current President in one of his vehicles, a '99 F-250.

My cousin from Bryan knew him when he owned the Texas Rangers and he had a Suburban. He used to have a Trans Am and Camaro too. Former First Lady Barbara Bush drove a Trans Am at their place in Maine.

I'd forgotten Bush still drives. And he wears his seat belt!!! I wonder how many of the prez candidates have Corzine Syndrome?

How about that stiff Tony Blair, eh? Who does he think he is out at the ranch, Oliver Wendall Douglas?

W should have lent him a Levi jacket.
