Canadian vehicle sales down 10.3 per cent in November
Sales of passenger cars and light trucks dropped by 10.3 per cent in November 2008 when compared to November 2007, according to industry analyst Dennis DesRosiers. The drop marks the lowest November sales in Canada since 1998, although year-to-date sales remain up by 0.5 per cent.
Passenger cars were down 11.9 per cent, while sales of light trucks dropped by 8.7 per cent. Link here: http://www.canadiandriver.com/thenew...n-november.htm

It is nice to see Honda drop more than GM but I utterly cannot believe Ford has increased over last November. I really wish Ford would go Bankrupt.

Re: Canadian vehicle sales down 10.3 per cent in November
My buddy bought a Montana SV6 last week. They were so eager to sell him a vehicle they virtually paid to get him out of his lease with a year left. I think he got about $10K off in total also.
I guess I should have waited a couple of months on my Malibu but I'm not sure the deals are going to get that much better on a good seller. |
