I'd rather see E85 in an H3

Light Pewter Metallic, Camel leather trim interior, M6, Hurst short-throw shifter, TCS.
One of five WS.6 models built with the combination of pewter exterior paint and camel trim interior. This combo was not an available option; the dealer had to override the restriction.

I agree. I see a Hybrid Hummer as nothing less than a win-win. I wonder if it is really in the works.

I think they should team the old Iron Duke with a BAS equipped three speed. It could be a tribute to all the Cieras, Celebrity's, Skylarks, Grand Ams buzzing booming throughout the hey-days of thje 80's and 90's---but with a 21st century twist.

How 'bout a Roger Smith "Double-Down".

If Profits sink...no more pension and the UAW actually starts working for a reasonable compensation package and quits hanging out at the bars, massage parlors, pillow tufting academies, whiners conventions, wino conventions and the ever so popular bowling alley.

If Profits go up-- double pension and a jobs bank so big UAW can put their bar tenders and bowling alley managers on the payroll.

Re: Will GM Build A Hummer Hybrid?

The Hummer brand is so out of place with the market demands today. I can't help but feel that all the profits from this niche brand are more than offset by the loss in sales on other GM brands because Hummers turns many consumers off from GM.

Hi everyone. I know you may not believe this, but I'm actually the author of that blog post. I've been a GMI lurker for quite a while, but finally decided to jump in after you chose one of my posts. This is one of my favorite sites. I've done a lot of other posts and blogs that might be of interest to you if you're interested. I'm particularly enthusiastic about the Volt, and have blogged about it extensively. Anyway, I look forward to being more active in the forums!

Re: Will GM Build A Hummer Hybrid?

The real question is what will the media say about a hybrid Hummer? They could totally destroy the car before it hits the dealerships.

Mainstream media or enthusiast media? It's a foregone conclusion that the mainstream media hates Hummer. Who really cares? I think if GM were to make a Hummer Hybrid, they'd be more confused than anything. Like I said in my post, "Their heads would explode from cognitive dissonance."
