The parade of cammo covered, next generation General Motors full-size pickups continues with these shots of the 2007 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 Crew Cab breaking cover. Even under the tape and plastic, the Sierra Denali's prominent chrome grille shows through.

The Sierra Denali's exterior isn't the only thing getting a major upgrade. The interior will be completely new and upscale, and the truck is expected to be powered by GM's new 6.2-liter small block V8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all wheel drive.

Roof rails! I actually considered something like this on my extended cab Silverado a while ago but decided that it wasn't worth the effort needed to do it right. But even though the Avalanche (basically a crew cab truck) has at least had them as an option the crew cab trucks haven't. I wonder if it'll be Denali-specific, or if they'll even make it to production though?

I can't believe that we have to wait almost FIVE MORE MONTHS for the official release of these trucks! And where's the Quadrasteer? I really hope they come back with it; it adds a unique element to the trucks that people who actually had it, loved it.

Looking good; and also very differentiated from the Yukon. I'm assuming that the Sierra interior is also going be as differentiated from the Yukon interior as the Silverado's was from the Tahoe's.

Re: Spy pics: '07 GMC Sierra Denali

It could look very good based on the images. More aggressive truck like appearance but not the "in your face" look of the Rams or the fugly look of the Ford SD's.

It has a much cleaner look then the Silverado since it doesn't have that horizontal bar going across the grill. I also like to grillwork under the bumper. (like the GXP).

It'll all boils down to how the styling of the bumper integrates with the grill.

It definately has potential be very stylish with just the right blend of aggressive truck like appearance.

This might look good. It's too bad the mirrors, which don't fit the Yukon or Tahoe, really don't fit the more squared off looking Yukon. But hey, it's just a small detail that happens to stick out from the truck 10 inches or more and is noticeable at more than 300 feet away.

In fairness, they might look fine when they're uncamoed. Also, they may not be the final mirrors.
