Re: Spy Photos: 2009 Hummer H3T Spotted At Baja 1000
Any word on getting an Avalanche and H2T-esque midgate? That would make this product that much more versatile and practical as opposed to things like the Explorer Sport Track or Ridgeline.

Don't expect that slantback to be an option - and the bed is decent - 5 feet!

Re: Spy Photos: 2009 Hummer H3T Spotted At Baja 1000
its actually doesnt seem that bad- with a midgate it would be even better. 5 feet long, the midgate could make it around 7'. thats pretty long. and if it keeps all the h3 off road capability (or most of it since this is longer), i dont see why it wouldnt be a winner.

Re: Spy Photos: 2009 Hummer H3T Spotted At Baja 1000
I agree -- pretty sweet setup -- also helps for offroading (departure angle) to get that spare out from underneath -- probably why they did it for Baja...

How would you get the spare down without throwing out your back?

Re: Spy Photos: 2009 Hummer H3T Spotted At Baja 1000
I wondered if they would ever do a notchback Hummer like they used to make for military use? Its a good way to cover the H3t bed! I am still dissapointed that the H3t is going to be a H3 with a sb stuck on the back. Where is the real truck style"H3t that we all fell in love with from years back??? I would buy that one in a heartbeat!

Re: Spy Photos: 2009 Hummer H3T Spotted At Baja 1000
I agree, where is the original H3T? I would have liked a true pickup or extended cab, no crew cab. Too long for my tastes. Also why hasn't GM introduced the extra door on the bed to reach items in the front like on the concept? If GM wants to lead in the pickup segment they could start by having features no one else has. i.e. like the chrysler minivans. There aweful, but you might buy one for features like the stow-n-go seats, etc. Thats how the japanese have done it for years. Just when your competition catches up you hit them with a new one that raises the bar. Raise the bar GM! I guess I'll continue to wait for GM to build what I want. When is the jeep wrangler sized H4 coming again???
