Depends on what you want I guess. We love our '08 Equinox Sport. It has plenty of room. The sliding rear seat (forward or back 8") allows for more cargo room OR an extremely roomy rear seat for passengers.

It gets a lot of looks and a few people have asked what it was because they liked it so much.

If you don't have a need for a 3rd row (which we do not) I say get a current Equinox Sport.

I'd hate to see the Equinox get bigger. It's the perfect size at the moment.

I would feel much better if this was an aveo or cobalt running around.. GM needs to revamp the bread butter small sedan sector

The one division of GM that everyone forgets is Suzuki. CAMI not only builds the Nox/Tor, but, also on that platform, the XL7 which in fact has 3 rows of seating.

There you have it, same size, three rows.
XL7 while still on theta is much larger at 197" compared to the 189" of the NOX

On sale or just on the autoshow circuit for production in 2011, typical GM fashion

It's coming out in 2009 as a 2010 model.

I suspect TE is going to be more car-ish, as a lot of the pieces for it are going to be shared with Epsilon II.

Well then, it's about time. Looks pretty good from what I can see. Can't wait until the covers come off though.

Not much to see, but it looks to be of decent size! Would be perfect with a 285hp DI V6!

That's not the GMC version. Look at the sloping roofline! It's most likely the SAAB variant.

Re: Spied: 2010 GMC Terrain

Let's hope that the GMC gets totally different sheetmetal and interiors then it's Saturn, Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Saab siblings. But seeing how the Lambas are shaping up, I stand corrected.

Siblings of what? The Cadillac BRX/CTX and the Saab 9-4X is on the Theta-Epsilon platform. The GMC Terrain and the Equinox replacement is on Theta II
