Re: Spied 2010 GMC Sierra 2500

The three bars make a big difference to me--much better looking. Now if they adopted the old truck's two air intakes in the bumper, and got some decent side mirrors that were more squared off, the truck would look pretty good.

That is a nice truck, may even tempt me to look at a HD, been a Duramax fan for a long time.

Very true. This Sierra seems to suffer from the same problem that the Yukon does.

The front looks like a silly smiley face. That small opening in the chrome bumper looks like a small mouth, the 'GMC' in the vacant grille is the nose and the headlights just look like they have a 'twinkle in their eye'.

The Silverado and Tahoe are lightyears more attractive than their GMC siblings (imo of course).

Hey ChevyRules, in that picture with the Audi and the Porsche, is the Audi the one with the AWD? because you have RWD being better then AWD written afterwards... Just wondering.

I do like this HD better then the Chev, but the 1500 Chev looks WAY better, especially with the color-matched grille.

I dont see any real change. I am looking out the showroom window at 2008 2500HD's and basicly it is the same. NOW for the torque! That is great news! Kick some but and the **** wont even be close! GM rules!

Agreed Bum, however some folks on this site can't understand that fact, and lobby for GMC to be axed so their silly little Pontiacs, Hummers, etc. can soldier on and continue to cripple GM. GMC is what carries the BPG sales channel and has so for quite some time now.

Re: Spied 2010 GMC Sierra 2500

I prefer the silverado with the new bumper. The GMC looks too refined, doesnt look tough enough, but thats just me. What good is 400 hp and 700ft lbs gonna do with that same frame? I hope they dont just "upgrade" it. Its time for a new frame altogether, maybe a more stout 4x4 front end, ahem?

It already has the most horsepower and torque. Bring on the smaller 4.5 L duramax!

Yeah the changes in pic are small. Hood channel goes right to the back edge now, the foglights now have a squared off openings and appear to be more flush (better aero?), also the chrome on the bumper does not extend down as far as current Sierra's, maybe more plastic and less metal to shave a few pounds??

The opening in the bumper is HD only I assume??

I would say not...the one has the molding with a good reflection of the background, if you look real close you can see at the very front how it angles up with the shape of the molding. Also the front valance just over the bumper has a big splat in middle towards the drivers side in both pics, also a rub mark or something (black) in front of the passenger side headlight in both pics. Also, if you look at the rear view picture, you can see how the shadows and reflection play with those moldings...
