Re: Spied: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

It'll look much better when they show it in a better color with the top plastic part above the grille chrome like it will be and the top plastic above the bumper color painted.

Re: Spied: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

To be real honest, I don't think anyone would notice if they just took the electrical tape off and drove it around. The people who did notice would probably just think it was a modded Silverado.

What a big difference a small change to the front bumper makes, this looks so much better. The current HD front looks awkward.

I like the new bumper MUCH better. I haven't been fond of the barbell bumper.
Note to self:
Buy more black electrical tape to cover grille emblem AND tailgate emblem.

you could tow it with the Silverado that just came out a couple of years ago. GM has bigger fish to fry. like their future.

Re: Spied: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

The new bumper is MUCH better. I emailed Chevy some time ago, and said they needed to redesign that front bumper. I see a lot of HD's with broken bumper end caps, and that doesn't do much for the truck's heavy duty image! I hope that the 2010 Silverado HD's also offer a factory spray-in bedliner (like Ford has now) and more powerful gasoline engines.

A spray in Bedliner would become an issue for ordering, unless it was standard. Drop-in liners are standard on Colorado for 2009. Some people prefer different types of spray-ins or drop-ins. I prefer http://www.linex.com/

Re: Spied: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

Well I might be pushing off the Jeep purchase for my wife I REALLY like the new bumper (that's sad that all it's taking is a new bumper) the hood looks to be the samebut we'll see what shakes out on this thing I'd LOVE more power (even though it really does not need it) but some better milage would be really NICE too.

Re: Spied: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

CONGRADS to everybody who cried about how ugly the HD looked cuase now you have the bumper of a 99-02 Silverado on a 2010 model.... GREAT !!!! 10 years and we are still using the plastic bumper cap, chrome bar, and plastic air dam setup... the current HD silverado is the hardest and toughest looking truck on the market and now they are going to change it cuase too many people thought it was ugly

Amen to ugly. chevy trucks have been ulgy for a long time. I used to sell them way back when. They did not look to bad, but now UGLY!!! GMC is better looking. I hear that all day long.

I like how they covered every bowtie except the big obvious one on the tail gate.
