The GMC kinda looks like the Envoy Denali in front. That Sierra looks like the Denali version with the grille.

Very interesting. They are attractive trucks. I still really want to seem more pic's from different angles though.
I agree about the Sierra looking like it is in Denali trim. |

Re: Silverado/Sierra official pics and info in Motor Trend
I need to go pick up a issue of Motor Trend. It's weird how they release info on it before GM was going to debut it. It's kind of like spoiling the debut.

Re: Silverado/Sierra official pics and info in Motor Trend
Wow!! There are some really good things here as well as some very bad things.
First of all I love the new look!! Especialy the Sierra. I'm still a bit iffy on the flears but other than that they're awesome. The interior is also very well done. Honda and Driver should have nothing bad to say about this one. I'm also very pleased with the performance. 10,500 lbs for towing and 2000+ for payload are very good numbers. Class leading as they say. I am however, very disapointed with the engines. Most are right out of the GMT800s. The 4.3 V6, as bad as it is, is back with the same old 195hp and 260 tq. They could have least gone with the I-5. What happened to the I-6 out of the trailblazer? I thought we were getting that one. This could hurt them bad because Toyota will, no doubt have a better V6 and Ford already does. The 4.8 is unchanged with 285 hp. Thats were the V6 should be. Why not drop the 6 and have the 4.8 as the base engine? And the 5.3 is the same as the Tahoe. I was hoping for a little more. And last the 6.0 is unchanged from the GMT800. So I ask, if GM could put all this effort into the truck it's self, why not more in the engines? They only changed one!!! This does not look good for them at all!! |

Re: Silverado/Sierra official pics and info in Motor Trend
Whoever it was was right on when they thought the new Sierra would be a Ford SD copycat.
I love the way the GMC looks. I hope and pray to the moon and stars that there is a body color nose option for the Silverado. Too much chrome and it doesn't look mean enough. |

Re: Silverado/Sierra official pics and info in Motor Trend
The grill and bowtie on the silverado looks to "plasticy" to me. I want the looks of the tahoe grill! The sierra looks pretty good. I want to see some high quality pics now.
