Re: One Million Mile Silverado
As a former Ford dealer tech, I'm VERY surprised at this. I've rebuilt countless 4R100 transmissions and have seen wayyyy too many blown up 5.4L's that got routine maintenance.

Re: One Million Mile Silverado
Its stories like this that make my heart swell and the pipes in my Silverado roar more. Thats pride.
Give that man a new truck GM. So that he can further enjoy your excellence in building trucks that truly are.... Like A Rock.

Re: One Million Mile Silverado
Sadly my Dodge has done better than my Suburban did with Penzoil (past life). 200-300k was the limit of cars back home, rot would get them before engine wear. Here in AZ all the rubber and plastic becomes brittle and breaks apart.

Re: One Million Mile Silverado
With current fuel prices will anyone ever touch this milestone again?

Re: One Million Mile Silverado
People that have to drive this much, like hot-shot drivers, etc., will still be driving.
