Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...?

Saw this picture posted today.

http://autodeadline.com/detail?sourc...39916&mime=JPG

It would be nice if GM put out some pictures of the Tahoe and Avalanche in an different color. Gold on the Tahoe and orange on the Avalanche just don't do it for me. Show me torch red!

Looks exactly like a tahoe with a bed on it.

If the silverado looks anything like this thing, i might throw up.

Re: Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...

I don't believe the Silverado will look like the Burban/Hoe/Avalanche, regardless, I think I like the Avalanche the best out of the trio now, which is weird because I have always loved the Tahoe. The truck bed fits perfect with the aggresive front end and the taut almost flexing wheel wellflairs. Beautiful job GM!

This thing looks great, I just wished it had a cladded version too. Is there any word on if the aftermarket is going to come out with cladding for those of us that want it? I'd trade mine in on a new 3/4 ton DuraMax with cladding, but until that's available, I think I'll just stick with my '03.

Re: Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...

I was really hoping that the Avalanch would be differnet in the front from the SUV's and the Silverado, but that didn't bother people from buying the 05's and stuff..so I'm sure it won't matter now. Looks good.

The front end looks bigger to me. Maybe it is just the way that pic is taken.

Re: Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...

here is another bigger version of the picture: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl.../60131001/1063

The front end and and grill/headlights remind me a lot of the Honda Ridgeline. Not sure if I like it or not.

Re: Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...

If it is in Autodeadline it is official. That is where some car companies store their official photos. If you have a journalist ID with enough clearance they let you downlload HiRes versions of the pictures.

Re: Official Chevrolet Avalanche picture...

heck, the Ridgeline was a big rip off on the Avalanche in the first place... Kudos! That thing looks great.. If I were to drive a truck.. that'd be the one..

What ?? And not have the entire GM lineup look exactly alike ???? And GM wonders why they can't keep much less attract new customers. By the time they get the message and get off their collective backsides to do something about it, it will be way too late.
