Re: No V8 For Colorado/Canyon Until 2009

Does anyone have any solid info about when the 5.3 will arrive at dealers? Forgive me if I don't wade through 20 pages of "I can pee further than you," but what was GM's official reason for no regular cab 5.3?

Maybe as early as Aug or this fall.

What does this post have to do with the Colorado/Canyon?
Not a damn thing.

Why don't you make a beeline and go create your own wonderful bee thread?

I'll take mine, with the 5.3, in Pewter, if they make it available.
Otherwise, any color except black or red. (Sorry. Just a preference.)

I also find it hilarious how you choose to single me out on being off topic to make bad puns with my name, when me and vmax have been at it equally for awhile now

None the less, you are right. It is time to get back to the topic at hand

Re: No V8 For Colorado/Canyon Until 2009

So being the lucky person I am living in Michigan, on my way back from the airport to Auburn Hills what did I have the pleasure of seeing? That's right, a v8 Colorado.

It was a bright blue, with a "v8" badge on the front fender near the mirror (I only saw it from the driver's side). No chance to snap any pics unfortunately.

Looked like a mini Silverado 2500, from the stance and the wheels, very nice. I think GM might have a winner on their hands if consumers can look at the truck for what it will be and if GM gets the word out about the v8.
