Re: New spy photos of new, bigger H2 SUT

Any chance that it may be used for military applications? Or some other application instead of being sold to the public? --- Kinda like that jeep they have just put out that is to be used by postal carriers and others?

It has to be military. I can't see GM going bigger with the H2 in the age of green meanies.

Re: New spy photos of new, bigger H2 SUT

I was hoping that any work done on a new H2 would have seen the introduction of some fender flares.

I used to think the H2 looked awesome.... until the H3 came out. Now the H2 looks like a big old brick, the H3 just looks "right" with it's fenders over the wheels.

Can you say two-mode green machine with attitude? Take that, Governator with your green house gas hypocrisy.

Pretty neat - I'm guessing that the extra bed length wouldn't add too much weight - probably a couple hundred pounds. The army paint scheme is pretty cool. The white star on the door is a little phony-looking, but the flat olive drab green would be a slick color option.

Re: New spy photos of new, bigger H2 SUT

If Gm sell this hummer to public. How many sales will gm loose because people will look at this hummer and say look what gm is making? They want to polute air. And all other garbage. I really think gm lost more sales because of hummer then it gained. They should just sell this devision to somebody else. Look how much bad publicity gm will get over this hummer and how much bad publicity they had over current hummers. Time to move away from this devision.

I think so too, but could be wrong.

Do you guys remember the MILCOT program (Militarized Commercial Off-The-Shelf) that was authorized sometime ago? It was basically supposed to be commercial products that had a bit more ruggedness for military applications -- but mostly to be used around the bases, etc as transpor. The idea was to expand beyond using "jeeps" for the base.

Chevy had a version nicknamed the "Milverado" for awhile. Not sure if it's still in production or if the Miltary still does this. There were even "militarized" versions of the Pacifica and Ram that were used around bases as transport. They were better on gas than some of the other vehicles used around bases and cheaper to run. I don't think that any were really used in combat zone, but just in domestic/secure areas....
