New GMT900 SUV Models Get $2-3K GM Card Bonus & Low Fin Rate

The new Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade are not even all on sale yet, and the following incentives already apply:

Financing: 3.9% - 5.9% based on term.

GM Card Bonus: http://www.gmcard.com/topoff3k/

And away we go...(again).

NOTE: ***THE GM CARD BONUS IS BY INVITATION ONLY***

Re: New GMT900 SUV Models Get $2-3K GM Card Bonus & Low Fin Rate

The $3000 offer really piqued my interest since I'm in the market for a mid-size SUV. I could get an Envoy/Trailblazer cheap. But the more I look at it, the more I feel like the competition (Pathfinder, Explorer) are worth the extra money. And I'm not one to just leave 3000 smacks on the table without serious consideration.

Lease a TB for 24 months then - The $3K will put $125 in your pocket every month of the lease.

I just noticed the Cobalt is not included in the offer - but the HHR is. Interesting.

GM's so called "commitment" to low pricing without incentives ... what a joke.

GM has no choice but to offer incentives ... the past summer's Employee Discount event sure helped the public percieve GM as the "king of discounts" in the marketplace.

Re: New GMT900 SUV Models Get $2-3K GM Card Bonus & Low Fin Rate

Talked to my local Chevy dealer buddy yesterday. He hasn't even got his first Tahoe in yet, hasn't even been built! He's beside himself pissed about these incentives.
He's got about 12 2006 GMT-800's left in stock. One big GMC dealer here in the KC area has 42 2005! Yukons & XL's still in stock!!!! No incentives on those at all. He's stuck with them.......

They won't sell any of these things with the power flip and fold seat. I looked at my first 2007 in person yesterday, and my wife hit the button while I was looking in back seat. It about took my head off! It needs to go down way slower or someone will be seriously hurt.

Why don't they just lower the MSRP if they are going to offer discounts when they first come out?

They are trying to make sure these things fly out of the gate despite higher gas prices. But I must admit, I was shocked as well.

EXACTLY. Dealerships around here still have many 'new' '05's, a boatload of "new" '06's and now the "newNEW" 07's are arriving.

WTF? How is this a good marketing ploy?

AZSlim - what were your earnings before the top-off? Were you over $2000 already?

I had $1150, and am now topped off to $2000.
