So GM supplies a photo of an 08 with the "Acadia" nameplate on the side photoshopped out to make it look like a '10...they can't even afford to take a new pic of an '09
That's a photo of an '09, from GM's media site that they recycled. Manufacturers usually have a lot of photos taken when a model is new and if there are no significant upgrades, they recycle them. GM isn't the only one.
As for the Colorado interior, here's what it's up against. Gray plastic, gray upholstery, gray plastic, and just for the heck of it, more gray plastic.

A lot of you guys must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

What's wrong with the photo of the Canyon? Decent location, it's got a perfect horizon line. . .

I'm sorry, a single-speed transfer case? How much did it cost to build that and how is it better than the two-speed?

Re: Meet Your 2010 GMC Lineup

The interior of the Tacoma is just better than the Canyon/Colorado all the way around. It just seems to flow better. But GM is designing some really good interiors now. All of the new models are much better looking than anything Toyota makes, in my opinion. But in the area of midsized trucks, I would buy a Tacoma before I would buy a Canyon/Colorado.

Re: Meet Your 2010 GMC Lineup

GM does not care about the Canyon/Colorado from what I can tell. Incentives, real sale price and lack of them on lots show that they are apparently there just to get people in the door who are looking for a smaller truck with the ultimate intent of selling them a Sierra or Silverado. And they share the H3 plant so it's not a huge deal to keep them around unchanged. If GM sells a few Canyonrados to people who don't care that the value proposition favors the Sierrarado, then so much the better -- but they aren't making any effort to sell them. Except the minor bow to Sport (Mini) Truck enthusiasts with the ZQ8, that is.

I wouldn't, and I didn't. I think the Tacoma interior is too busy. It has three different colors and about six different textures. The best part about being in the interior is that you can't see the beat-with-an-ugly-stick grille/headlights/hood.
Have you driven both of them?

^^ Ming, the ZQ8 suspension is awesome. That's part of the reason that I decided on a Colorado

I'm not seeing a 6.0L, so is the 2010 VortecMax powered by the 6.2L? I'd love me a 6.2L Crew Cab without Denali bling.

Who buys a truck for its interior? The Canyon has an optional 5.3L V8 and that alone makes it a better truck than the Tacoma.

If I had to pick a midsize pickup, I'd go Dodge. Real truck looks, V8 power, and a decent interior.

Here's a good view of the dash

And the exterior

EDIT: ^^^^ Slideways,
From my experience with Colorado owners they're fantastic offroaders, putting the Tacoma, Dakota and Ranger to shame. My experience with midsize trucks is that the Dodge is the most pleasant on-road.

The Tacoma has great front wheel travel, making them a good platform for pre-runners, and since the Ranger is so popular as a pre-runner, there are lots of different upgrade options there. Companies are just now getting long-travel kits out for Colorado. The base Colorado is fine on road, and the ZQ8 can be less than pleasant on bad roads, but it's the most fun on good, curvy mountain roads. As for the Dakota, I wasn't a fan until they seriously cranked up the power on the V-8. It was like night and day.

I'd also like to add that the nicest looking mdsize truck ever made is this S10. I had an S10 Blazer with at 4.3L V6. It looked good and the 4300 had a gruff, beefy sound, not a whiny sound like the 3.6L.

Although I am partial to my Colorado, which looks really good in my opinion after I made a few tweaks, I will agree that that generation S-10 (91-93) was the best-looking compact truck to ever roll of an assembly line. The current Ranger is an extremely close 2nd.

The Chevy S10 is a close second, though.
