Okay, maybe it's due to the two Jack 'n Cokes I've sampled this evening, but that new Uplander styling is growing on me.
I'm sure I'll regret posting that when the elixir wears off. |

Can someone tell me why the heck they decided to call the Chevy CSV an "Uplander"? Horrible name...
And why did they give the thing the Pinocchio treatment? I thought the point of a van was most space interior vs. exterior, this extra front end seems wasteful. Unless it's easier to work on, but considering the rest of the body is identical...

Question about the Silverado...It states that front disc/rear drum anti-lock brakes will be standard. I'm a bit confused about this...I thought that since '99 all the Silverados were set up with anti-lock disc brakes in the front and rear. Why the reversion to rear drums???

The braking system on the Silverado is supposed to be improved for better feel. The rear drums was probably a cost-saving move. Not a good move, in my opinion.

I like the Xtreme Colorado, looks good. Glad to see the SSR is getting more power. Only problem is, few of their trucks are due for a redesign, like their Tahoe and Suburban. Other than that, I like the line-up for 2005.

I was planning on getting a 05 SilveradoHD DMAX,not no more. They screwed them up worse then they already were.Thank god the Sierra stayed the same cuz thats whats going to be getting ordered. And I hope the new blue is more like the old Indigo Blue for the early to mid 90s.And im suprised it dosent talk about the Duramax being bumped up to 605lb-ft of torque for 05.

Agree about the Colarado interior, it is cheap. Can't believe both this and now the Silverado have rear drums. Oh wait this is GM were taling about here. You know, the company that thinks no one will notice all their de-contenting.
