Re: The M5 of pickups? Roush Silverado

I hope it comes in a regular cab. It looks like it might be real badass.

It really sucks being a car guy and knowing that vehicles like this have very little chance with these gas prices.

Re: The M5 of pickups? Roush Silverado

Why would GM want Roush?

If we wanted something with a supercharged engine and a so-so suspension I would have bought a Mustang...

You don't need them GM, pointless, build your own SS!!

Well, if you want to see the glass 1/4 full instead of seeing it 3/4 empty, they could have picked the crew cab dually with a 8' bed...

If the Colorado wasn't so ugly, the reg cab version could make an interesting modern-day Syclone... there's already a V8 coming, shouldn't be that hard to make a faster version in the reg cab with an optional manual tranny.

I agree, thats the way they should come, although they probably wouldn't sell half as many.

I thought NASCAR would have taught Roush something. Lighter is better!
Hopefully CAFE pushes this kind of stuff out of style soon.......

GMC does have a version of the Roush / SS, it's called the GMC Sierra Denali. Stock it puts out 403 HP / 417 ft/lbs. Then you can add whatever performance mods you like to easily get the Denali well over 500 HP.
