That's assuming that they didn't sacrifice Lambda sales/huge profits for Trailblazer/Envoy sales. The question is where will those additional sales come from? xterra yes, Acadia no.

I wasn't planning on buying a truck, but if they put $10K on the hood of a 360 I would go shopping.

I'd rather see 0% financing across the board on all GM vehicles. Most people don't want trucks and SUVs any more. Give people a reason to buy the car they really want in an econonmy that, otherwise, scares them away.

Re: Key Dealer says GM Needs to Step up Incentives on Trucks

"Key dealer says GM needs to step up incentives on trucks." File this under, duh.

Nobody wants a truck as long as gas is $3.50 and up. And even more people don't want a truck with rear DVD, leather, power everything, butt warmers, etc. thats costs $45,000 WITH $3.50 gas. Its time the truck goes back to being a vehicle for people who need trucks. You know, those guys you see driving around with something in the bed. Those people that work for a living and don't get called Sir all day long. Yep. Thats right, that bed is for hauling stuff!

Yeah, I'd say add some incentives or watch them rust. Take your pick.

I agree. It's well known that there's huge profit in trucks. I think the manufacturers are going to have to consider lowering the MSRP a LOT.
