Looks like the rumors were true -- the HX will be on display in January:

Hummer needs this vehicle if it's going to stick around.

I'll take one.. If it only had a manual transmission it would be perfect.

Certainly will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Power trans and body wise. With the price of oil the H1 and H2 will be history sooo...

It is rugged and sporty looking. It also is body-on-frame design, I love this thing. If/When it comes out, I will take mine in black.
Also, its about time a slant back is offered again.

Interesting looking. Did GM designers plan for the driver to actually be able to see out of that letterbox windshield and over that hood bulge?

TOO many fat ass Amerians that could NOT fit into this unit IMHO. Just look around folks. "Wide-loads" all over the place. GM does in fact need a unit to compete with the successful Wrangler line though. Maybe this is it.

That's a hell of a thing to say. Keep you anti-American, rather anti-human comments to yourself.

I'm not here to act as an arrogant American. But this IS the best country to live in.

The Hx looks great! I don't want or need a 2-door SUV but for some reason I must have one of those!
