GMT 900 stuff from Dealerworld

Since Nsap is taking so long. Here you go guys a profile drawing of the GMT900 crew cab trucks showing the front end pretty well, taken from from the GM truck-camper loading guide.

Also of intrest certain areas of the dealerworld site, where I found this guide, call all the GMT800 trucks 'classic' like GM did with the Lumina then old Malibu.

All of this and more can be found by leafing through this link.

Re: GMT 900 stuff from Dealerworld

whoa!
The front grille and headlights look quite a bit larger than the Tahoes, but it still shares a family resemblance. I like the taillamps too, althought they do look a little like the ram. Hood looks awesome too, also seems bigger than the Tahoes.
I'm impressed as of now, good job GM!

i don't think it shows what the trucks will look like any more than the spy shots do. a profile drawing is so hard to judge, there's no depth and no way to tell where character lines and other what-nots are.

Re: GMT 900 stuff from Dealerworld

Looks like the Colorado's doors. And Classic probably means they won't have 3/4 and 1 tons ready for 2007.

I take that back, they've got measurements for the "all new" 1500s, 2500s and 3500s. And they're showing "classic" 1500, 2500, and 3500 measurements. Strange. Didn't Ford try something like this with they replaced their last F150?

I see they list dimensions for 1500, 2500, and 3500 "All New" 2007's. Apparently they are all coming out the same year this time.

Looks like the bed will be wider between the wheel wells and the box will be 4 inches higher

I thought the big headlight craze was dying though.

Looks like they're comparing a short-box crew cab with a long-box crew cab. I hope this doesn't mean there won't be a long-box crew cab. Some people actually need that, and I can guarantee if it isn't there, SOMEONE is going to complain--then buy a competitor's truck.

GM did that also. Some 2000 model Silverados & Sierras had the older, square body style. They called the GMC the Sierra Classic, but I can't remember what the Silverado was called.
