GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

DETROIT - GMC's most premium full-size SUV offers enhanced features and craftsmanship in 2007 that distinguish it from other models in the segment. It is a comprehensive package of performance, amenities and style that delivers a powerful statement that is unique to GMC.

GMC today announced that the all-new 2007 Yukon Denali will be offered with an MSRP of $47,990 (including $875 destination freight charge), $3,070 less than the model it replaces. As announced previously, pricing for the base Yukon begins at $34,690.

Yukon Denali exterior styling cues include the iconic chrome grille, different front and rear fascias, tasteful use of chrome in the front fascia, body side moldings, door handles and roof rack, and specific Denali head lamps and rear tail lamps.

New interior styling cues unique to Denali include the center console design, use of wood trim and interior color scheme.

In addition to all the standard content on Yukon, additional standard content on the Denali model includes 18" wheels and tires, a segment-exclusive power fold - and -tumble second row seat, heated first and second row seats, head curtain side impact airbags for all rows, all-wheel drive, a 6.2 liter, 380 horsepower V8 engine, six-speed transmission, power liftgate and remote start.

Optional content includes a navigation system with an available rear view camera system, rear seat entertainment system, power sunroof and uniquely designed 20" chrome aluminum wheels.

"The Yukon Denali is the ultimate in Professional Grade and sets a whole new standard for the GMC brand," said John Larson, Pontiac-GMC General Manager. "The Denali price is consistent with our competitive pricing strategy while offering consumers the best in a premium full-size utility."

The 2007 Yukon line includes Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali. Yukon Denali begins production in the second quarter of 2006.

About Denali

GMC Denali vehicles are the ultimate expression of Professional Grade engineering delivering capabilities and amenities to an all-new level.

The Denali brand, first introduced in 1998, continues to attract higher profile customers to GMC. Denali sales reached record levels in 2005, comprising more than one-third of Yukon sales and nearly a third of Envoy sales.

Re: GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

I realize that the Escalade has better interior materials, a better warranty, 23 more horsepower, and theoretically a better dealership experience, but this is a pretty substantial savings off the $57,280 that the Escalade AWD starts at. I prefer the understated luxury of the Denali to the extroverted Escalade, personally. Can't wait to check one out!

This is $3,975 more than the Tahoe LTZ...but may be worth it with it's extra options, bigger engine, and 6 speed automatic.

This would be why the average buyer of a Denali has a higher average annual income than an Escalade buyer. Those with it keep it!

Re: GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

The Toyota Land Cruiser has a MSRP of $56,115 and it's a pile of crap compared to the old Yukon.

Re: GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

I was of the opinion that last Gen Denali perhaps would be a better purchase than Escalade. But, given the fact that the Escalade has a more upscale interior, and Denali ofers no Bi-Xenon like the outgoing one, I do not know which is better...

Re: GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

MSRP = $47,990
Nav = 2,145
RVC = 195
Powergate = 350
Sunroof= 995
ETC
heated wwf 85
rain-s wipers 95
---------------------
$51,885
well here is what i estimated for what i would need......minus 20" (have 22's)

This is a very good value when compared to a fully loaded tahoe LTZ....sure, you may lose a little in the looks department (in some people's opinion) but.....take this into consideration

6.2L
AWD!
+70 HP (gmc.com has the 07 4wd 5.3 listed at 310, and 2wd @ 320)
+85 TQ (vs 5.3 330 for 4wd)
6-Speed Transmission (vs 5.3's 4-speed)

I mean, this is pretty unbelievable, and if you have patience I'm sure you can get invoice pretty low, say 45-47....

I'm quite excited

as far as the HID's go just buy some 6000k Phillips HID bulbs and throw them in a projector lens

Re: GMC Announces Yukon Denali Price

Im sure that 6.2 will be great, even at the 380 HP, hopefully they will get DOD on that engine soon. Not a bad price at all.

I don't know how accurate these prices are. We just got our first Yukon in and it's got everything possible on it and it stickers for $51,000.
