Re: GM Releases Photos of New Hybrid/XFE Trucks

Hybrid Badging = Yes. Tacky Hybrid Graphics = No.

Get that new Hybrid logo and badging out there GM. People will know it when they see it. The graphic is NOT aesthetically pleasing to the eye and looks cheap like something from the early eighties.

The Silverado really needs a new front end.
Awkward is a nice way to describe the way it looks right now.

How about the ABS Rims that it seemed that every Pontiac was equipped with. My favorite was the Firebird rims finished in chrome, and smack in the middle was those beautiful letters "ABS". A trip down memory lane, I must have been 7 and though that was stupid.

Re: GM Releases Photos of New Hybrid/XFE Trucks

Why is the XFE only available on the crew cab?

Re: GM Releases Photos of New Hybrid/XFE Trucks

I believe all the Hybrid logos are needed so the Sierra Club (ironic isn't it?) won't torch them at the dealerships or key yours while you are getting groceries or something.

I hate where they put the Hybrid badge on the Sierra...doesn't look good sitting randomly above the Sierra badge on the tailgate.

Why release pics of these trucks in the first place? There's nothing different about them other than the stickers all over.

Re: GM Releases Photos of New Hybrid/XFE Trucks

I was really hoping for something more radical.

I thought they were lowering the front suspension - maybe that's only on 4x2s and these are 4x4s?

It wasn't the Sierra Club - it was the earth liberation front.

I guess accuracy and just happening to be 'right' about 'facts' doesn't matter when you're only concern is to level some kind of konservative bon mot.

Re: GM Releases Photos of New Hybrid/XFE Trucks

Badges? Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!!!

Seriously... I don't think its a big deal but it a little over the top in the amount of stickers and badges.

What I really don't understand is why the X FE badge is a different style from the Silverado & GM badges. These things make the trucks look cheap.
