GM fixes transmission which delayed shipments
Monday March 15, 1:44 pm ET DETROIT, March 15 (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. (NYSE:GM - News) said on Monday that it temporarily halted shipments of some of its large pickup trucks, vans and SUVs on Friday due to a problem with the transmissions. About 25,000 vehicles were potentially affected by a faulty pump in the transmission that could prevent lubrication from reaching overdrive gearset bearings, GM spokeswoman Debbie Frakes said. "We detected the problem and we fixed it immediately before most of these got into customer hands," Frakes said. "We were back shipping by the end of the day." The transmissions, produced at GM's Willow Run, Mich., transmission plant, were installed in the Chevrolet Express and Silverado, GMC Suburban, Sierra, Savana and Yukon XL and W4 medium duty trucks. Its good to see that GM caught this before it went out to the public. GM is starting to snatch their mistakes before they go out to public.

:argue: :flush: now the general has to recall 4 million trucks because the tail gates might fall off.when making these some engineer said we can save .$50 a
truck by going cheaper you only get what you pay for.JUNK is all we know how to build forget and QA
