Re: GM Canada Announces Pricing on All-New Terrain

Which is about the same as a Golf GTI.

Both vehicles had their pricing released today, VW disappoints lots, but I guess if they're bringing out a USDM-spec decontented Jetta, upping the Golf's line pricing makes some sense. :|

Still, 20,175 and up (add a thousand for a 5 door, another thousand for a wagon (yeah, Jetta and Golf Wagon being sold alongside right now, wtf) for a God damn compact, as great a car as it is? It's costing them less to manufacture and I have to pay more for less content? Screw you.

And there seems to be little if any incentives to get the newer model over the old one styling aside. The equipment's awfully similar.

Wow, thanks for all of the input on the Terrain

By the way, count me in the camp that thinks the Terrain looks better every time I see it (though not yet in person)...

At least it is under the $30k mark. Still seems expensive to me. Oh well, with 7+ year financing, maybe I can still afford one.

We've had them on the lots for three weeks now. Little late to release pricing officially isnt it?

Re: GM Canada Announces Pricing on All-New Terrain

I really like this and think gm hit it right on the head, it looks diff than the other on the same platform! (gm is listening to what people are saying) One of the things people didnt like in the past and I agree with them is that gm had 2 or 3 of the same type of cars that looked the same while on the same platform! This something I see that has changed with gm, now there will always be rebadging and the using of platforms in the auto industry but making them apply to diff styles and people is the way to go!

I think having it on a fwd base is ok knowing that a awd is a opition!

It's not info on the Terrain, but it just goes to show you how much better you can get than a Golf for the price here. :V

Thumbs down Re: GM Canada Announces Pricing on All-New Terrain

I looked at a new Terrain last evening..............this thing will rival the Pontiac Aztec in the design hall of fame. It is just plain ugly! It is a Jeep Compass with a Chevy Chase TRUCKSTER front end. The seats according to my wife looked like fish net stockings on a fat hooker!
Try again GM.............at least the Equinox is a bit better. My 08 Envoy will be traded on a Four Runner or a Ford Explorer............good buy GM!
