Re: Autoweek video review : 2010 GMC Terrain
Lets keep the conversation about the cars here ladies and gentlemen.
I am becoming more and more of a fan of this vehicle. I fully intend to take a look at it when our Malibu lease is up. We need a vehicle with actual cargo capacity, but that doesn't chug gas. This may be it.

Re: Autoweek video review : 2010 GMC Terrain
The T has a manly style compared to the feminine E. The heavily-chiseled look is not so abrupt in white, which really looks good with the chrome. The darker colors do not come across well for me except for the black ones with the chrome. Nice to sit in, front AND BACK (roomy!).

Re: Autoweek video review : 2010 GMC Terrain
Agreed. I have seen 2 and the more I see it the better it looks. Its a better looking, FWD version of the H3. In the new commercial the vehicle looks very good. The wheel flares are a little over the top but this thing stands out in a sea of ugly RAV4s and CRVs.

Re: Autoweek video review : 2010 GMC Terrain
That would certainly free up GMC to get the red interior treatment too. Lord knows that sheet metal looks nothing like a pontiac. I could in no way envision a double kidney grille mashed in that schnoz.

Re: Autoweek video review : 2010 GMC Terrain
Most crossovers in this class have a generic, soft look. This one does not and that was the intention. Its bold, but not ugly. I'm sure it will sell because nothing else looks this masculine or rugged. It also looks like a $30k vehicle unlike many of its jelly bean shaped competitors. We don't need another "me too" vehicle in this class. Aside from the Nox I can't think of anything in the class that looks better. Have you seen the 2010 Cr-V? Its far worse.

Everything but the gaping maw has grown on me.
Still would probably go with the Equinox though if I was shopping this segment. |
