Now do that with every GM product, along with great styling. Both Ford and GM.

Re: Automotive Writers Blow 07 Tahoe’s Trumpet –Motortrend.com

I just sat in a LTZ and while I consider the whole vehicle an improvement there is not soft touch plastic everywhere in the cabin.
The top of the dash is still hard plastic and some of the plastic looks a little flimsy.
It is certainly not Volkswagon quality or Honda quality.

But it is a Chevrolet and I wouldn't expect it to have premium quality finishes.
I would say that the design is first rate and also the carpet quality is a step up.
Overall I would say that it is a home run and is definitely what Chevrolet needs.
And judging by the amounnt of people who made Uturns in the middle of the highway and swarmed around it at 2PM in the afternoon GM has a winner on it's hands.

And not only do I think it is a winner but ALL of the other SUV makers will have to back to the drawing board, and I also don't see how they will meet the Tahoe's price point.

Honda quality? I hope you are joking, the Fridgeline has the worst looking interior with the worst use of materials possible.

If the Tahoe gets this much praise, what are the Yukon and Escalade going to do for GM's encore?

Re: Automotive Writers Blow 07 Tahoe’s Trumpet –Motortrend.com

You often hear the press praising GM vehicles for their quality and styling until they are actaully released on the market, Then, within 6 months of release they contradict themselves by cutting up the same car for lacking quality and refinement. Heck, I can remember reading articles praising the 99 Grand Am before release and we all know how popular that car was after it hit the market. Hopefully the same will not ring true this time.

Not to argue the point, but it is the Ridgeline. The "Truck of the Year"!
