Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Not Planned to Get Diesel or Denali Version
Docherty said it was a possibility.

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Not Planned to Get Diesel or Denali Version
They're obviously not going to say anything besides the fact that it's being considered.

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Not Planned to Get Diesel or Denali Version
GMC is the ideal way for GM to introduce diesels in this country. "Professional Grade Engineering" perfectly describes the high-tech turbo diesels we have today. GMC also carries the cachet to command higher priced diesel vehicles, also. It's a natural.
Picture a Terrain with 250 hp and 400+ lb/ft of torque, getting in the high 30s mpg on the highway. Picture it loaded for $36 grand - a $5000 premium for a diesel. Would you jump on that? I would. So fast. (Then I'd lower it, black out the chrome and . . . . ) Last edited by AMcA : 10-01-2009 at 08:53 PM. |

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Not Planned to Get Diesel or Denali Version
I asked her if it was going into the Terrain. She said they're happy with the current engine lineup so far.
