I like it...looks pretty cool!
Are they going to produce a regular cab version?
My 1988 Chevy S10, 2001 Chevy Silverado, and 1976 Chevy K10
Actually, looks kinda nice. With the V8 this may be a pretty neat mid-size truck.
They said it couldn't be done. That is until I did it.
Great looking truck, if I hadn't already bought a Sierra, I would give it serious consideration.
wow, actually looks pretty good! I hope it sells well!
This will no doubt help G.M. meet Cafe.
1966 Corvair Corsa
Wow...I was actually thinking about how much I would love a Brute (That kit you can buy to convert a Wrangler into a pickup truck) but this is so much better.
I love it and this would fit into exactly what I could use and want.....maybe
Of course I would be punishing this thing off road so it better not steer too far from the H3's capability![]()
It lost a lot of great things for the H3T concept which I loved. It is watered down and unless there is a regular cab version I am dissapointed. I loved some of the aspects of the concept like like shape of the grille the tow hooks the camera on the hood latches. It is just such a cool concept to have the same name as the final product.

"In the economic sphere an act, a habit, an institution, a law produces not only one effect, but a series of effects. Of these effects, the first alone is immediate; it appears simultaneously with its cause; it is seen. The other effects emerge only subsequently; they are not seen; we are fortunate if we foresee them." -- Frédéric Bastiat
It is no longer a concept. The extensive list of factory available options might soothe your pain. Be patient young padiwan!
You and the othe 5% who buy regular cabs will just have to wait until the proper unveiling in Chicago.
Chicago will be here soon enough. Until then, some nice cheese to go along with that whine?![]()

I would've much rather seen a surprise production Hx or H4 or whatever they would call it than this.
Throwback
Does it have a midgate? GM should not make this type of vehicle without that awesome feature... the H2 SUT has one, and that's what makes the Avalanche so attractive to me as opposed to a 4-door truck.
Hopefully, GM was wise and incorporated the midgate into this product.
Very nice, should be interesting to see what the base price is. I'd price it the same as the regular H3, and I definitely would have come out with a regular cab version - to slot between the H3 and the upcoming H4. They blew it in that respect. Lots of guys like the H3, but its just a wee bit pricey at 30k. Its a lot of vehicle don't get me wrong, but a lot of us don't want a $437 car payment. (5k down @$17.48 per $1000 financed. Tax and tags additional. See dealer for complete details. Blah, blah, blah.) Plus insurance.
Hmm, I don't think it will really help. The H3 with a five banger gets about the same EPA ratings as a Suburban or full size pickup, and I'm imagining that the V8 is even worse. Plus this probably weighs about the same as the H3 SUV since (I think) it's longer.
If this is under 35 mpg, it's more like part of the CAFE problem than part of the solution.
JMHO of course.
