(LX9) 3.5L 3500 V6 SFI engine

New Features

(14U) Light Amethyst Metallic exterior color

(35U) Polar Blue Metallic exterior color

(51U) Gold Mist Metallic exterior color

(81U) Medium Brown Metallic exterior color - not available at start of production

(P04) 17" aluminum wheels

(P23) 17" 5-spoke, Bright Chrome clad aluminum wheels

Dual-zone manual air conditioning on 2LT and 3LT models

Deluxe floor mats on 2LT and 3LT models

(LGD) 3.9L 3900 V6 SFI FlexFuel engine, capable of running on unleaded or up to 85% ethanol - interim availability

Changes

(LZ9) 3.9L 3900 V6 SFI engine is now standard on all models

DVD removed from LS models, remains only on LT models

I'm very glad to see that the 3.9L is Flex-Fuel capable now!!

Should have put the 3.9L with DOD in the Uplander instead.

Glad to see they got rid of the standard DVD on all models. Kids can read books or something instead.

The vans really needed this engine upgrade. That old 3500 needed to go.

3500 was ok but when the van really loaded up it was a bit slow. That said, it wasn't terrible.

Anyone notice that the Montana information isn't posted? I see the Uplander, Terraza and Relay, but no Montana. Did they kill it?

the montana was renamed the sv6 a few years ago...and yes pontiac THANK GOD deleted it.

Wow, looks like GM is serious about making its outgoing vans competitive. I wish the Equinox/Torrent were seeing this level of change.

Good point. Why aren't Equinox and Torrent getting any kind of update? Those 3.4's should never have been there in the first place, but with the new Rav4, and upcoming Escape, they're really unacceptable.

Also, why don't they get the hybrid powertrain? All the design work is done for that platform.
