Re: 2007 HHR Changes

HP and torque changes better mean more power. It would be nice if they had a 5 speed auto, or 6, availible and an engine with 200-220 hp. I think it could really broaden appeal, because it has good styling and is practical and fuel effiecent. And as gas sits a $3 a gallon it is a really appealing vehicle. But 170 hp to people used to a more powerful suv is pretty weak. With 200 hp though, it would perform closer to a Fusion, Vue V6, etc.

Bring it to 200HP... but bring the efficiency UP!!!
$3.05 a gallon for regular is really REALLY pushing limits.

Re: 2007 HHR Changes

It needs a soft armrest on the door, plus window switches on the door.

Armrest, yes. Move the window switches? No. Center console switches are vastly superior.

I agree. I am seriously considered a used HHR as my next vehicle.

I hope this means more power, too bad about the cargo net though.

hey don't bring up the hp of this, until you do the same for the cobalt! If this gets 220 hp then whats the point of a ss-cobalt. I've driven the hhr, its fun to drive, solid, planted, and gives good feedback for ANY car under 30k (granted it was the 2LT version w/ the 2.4). I was impressed, but again, 6 speed auto? And the door locks on the doors need to be flush where the window is, not pop up, b/c when you put your arm out the window, teh buttons thrust into you. ouch!

This is good if it's getting more power.

The black interior addition is great. How did they not include this from the start?

Re: 2007 HHR Changes

Just give it the SS treatment this SUV deserves! That's really all it needs, other than that it is a great vehicle. In addition it needs discs all around. We can live without a six speed here, change the more expensive models first. A four-speed is pretty decent for its class.
