Re: 2007 H3 Changes

hopefully the 27 hp. will be good for something, but i doubt it's worth much. the H3 needs the 5.3 with AFM. it's not like it would get a whole lot less fuel mileage, the way the 5 cylinder struggles to move the H3's weight isn't too good for fuel economy, so just give us a V8 and all will be good. maybe they're afraid to make the H3 outperform the H2.

Re: 2007 H3 Changes

They should turbocharge the engine for more hp in an Alpha edition, otherwise good moves for the most part. Hummer has never really been known for power, they were always known for good off-roading. Case in point, the H1, with all of that mass to move, only had roughly 200 hp from a huge, non-turbo diesel, and still has that in its base version, I believe. I know for sure it has the Duramax in the Alpha edition.

Re: 2007 H3 Changes

Nice to see the 3.7, but since GM already has a V6 3.9 with the same power, why not just use that instead?

Re: 2007 H3 Changes

Seriously think about it, if they through an option v8 in there, the magazines could no longer rag on it for being so slow. Then they wouldnt have a thing to say about it
