I think you have to see the new front end first hand to appreciate it. The wheels, however, look like hub caps kinda but they had to change them i imagine because of the new drum brakes requiring 17' wheels

actually a HD truck is 3/4 ton and has 8 lugs on the rims those pictures are only 6 lugs so theyre only regular 1500
i guess the truck could HD be but those pictures of the wheels aren't

very underwhelming. the Dodge and Ford HD trucks have this thing beat by a country mile. something completely new is definitely needed here.....

I really hope they go torwards the lines of the HHR.

I also think GM trucks need a tightness that Ford trucks have. I am looking to buy a used Ford truck for that reason. The Ford trucks just "feel" tighter. (There I go with that "feel" thing again). I think the F-250 would be a good benchmark.

My '72 Chev C-10 is a tough truck. But I think the newer GM trucks just "feel" like if you go hard with 'em through some mudholes the front suspension may fall apart. I've seen a few newer GM trucks where the whole front suspension just blew apart.

The truck war is soon to heat up and GM can't count on their typical base to hold up.

GM needs to step their trucks up abit. As far as tightness and soundness. They need to produce robust, tight parts and incorporate them into a tight product.

Newer GM trucks, I think, lack a tightness which Ford has.

<_<

I think GM should completely redesign every single vehicle every year so they will never again suffer the fate of hearing people forever claim that GM is behind whenever someone else introduces their updated vehicles.

Then again, I suspect that that still wouldn't quiet people.

So, the big chrome bar has morphed. Hardly a big deal. Not much of a design statement happening here.

New grille. WHOOPEE  I can't tell much of a difference. Those wheels are totally lame. I'm a diehard GM guy but my enthusiasm is diminishing. Exactly who is doing the new design work at GM?
