Re: Rhys Millen Wins Formula Drift Title in his GTO!

I was browsing the magazine section at the store the other day and picked up a ricer mag. There was a story on this drift competition, and while they mentioned that the GTO won and a Mustang was third, NO WHERE in the article were there any pictures of the GTO, just pictures of nissans and hondas that DIDN'T win.

Too bad this won't really hit mainstream media. The Today Show and other highly watched shows should have him on. Maybe adding a spark to the public about the GM rebound.

Re: Rhys Millen Wins Formula Drift Title in his GTO!

I completely agree with you mate, Millen was hard done by at 3 of the comps. Especially against the Mustang at atlanta, I think it was atlanta.
Maybe because he isn't the hometown hero.

Its a real shame that Rhys is changing to a g6,
Now who am I going to support now that there isn't an aussie car driven by aussie participating. New Zealand is part of australia isn't it?
Keep up the good work

Re: Rhys Millen Wins Formula Drift Title in his GTO!

the best part about it is that people might give the monaro/gto the respect it deserves.

Mustang owners - you made the wrong decision.

The best thing is the GTO/Monaro will get the respect it deserves.
When the GTO was released people critised it and then bought a Mustang

Mustang owners-You made a big mistake!
