Re: Pontiac G8 to Pace Grand Am Rolex Races

Yep, the Rolex Series is starting up again. Can't wait. Although it looks like they are going to bypass the Iowa Speedway this year. Here is the complete schedule, http://www.grand-am.com/rolex/schedule/, and be sure to watch on Speed Channel.

I hope to take in the ALMS in August at Elkhart Lake.

Support road racing, this is a market GM needs to tap.

There's nothing more manacing than a Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Ram Air in Black!

Hope the G8 does well, but, seriously... the days of the Trans-Am WS6 are behind us (unfortunately)...

Well hopefully they will get a few extra cautions this year for some extra free advertising.

I much prefer the Firebird Formula. The T/A was festooned Pontiac at some of its worst, imo.

I really prefer my black 6-spd Camaro SS, no front plate, black painted carbon taillights, carbon halo headlights, grey Torq-Thrust II's w/ 315's out back (in the summer anyway), lowered suspension, Loud-Mouth exhaust, Kooks headers, etc. My car is Darth Vader.

You could have given that GTO all the publicity in the world and it wouldn't have helped the fact that it looked like a turd.

Thumbs down Re: Pontiac G8 to Pace Grand Am Rolex Races

Just close the doors on Pontiac. The G-8 will be a flop! The new Pontiac/Aveo will be a flop!
The new Gran Prix is a flop! The Vibe is a Toyota! The Soltice is a one hit wonder!
After owning a number of Bonnevilles, I bought a 2001 and found out that Pontiac was on a down hill slide........and I was right!
Let Pontiac rest in peace.....I'll never go back!

Fujio, buddy, how are things in Nagoya? You get that cold that's been going around?

Saki works I hear. Hope you feel better, and that recall problem you have with the Sequoia gets solved soon. Oh and the Tundra thing. Ugh, that sucks too.

Finally the wait is over. Pontiac paces Daytona, again.

That's all I'm gonna say

Exactly... come on... post a pic... we wanna see!!!

Based off the description you may win me over hands down... I have the TqThrstII's on my pickup too but mine are polished... I'm hope'n for some 18"-20" Chrome ones in the future but for now I am more than satisfied with the 17"'s on my '87 Pickup...

I'll be waiting for them pics... even a video with the exhaust note would be worth looking at too...
