I am kinda glad I read this before my response. The Monte Carlo has been very neglected. Sales have already been there. I have had one 2007. And currently don't even have one.

Re: Impala to replace Monte Carlo in NASCAR Nextel Cup

What ever, Impala, Monte Carlo, it doesn't matter. With T*y@ta racing, its just going to blow huge. Not even worth going to the races anymore. Nascar is starting to really suck. It's not what it used to be, but then what is.....so sad!

personally, (for obvious reasons) i'd rather see a rwd impala come in coupe and sedan.. and have a camaro in chevys lineup right along with it.

Yea, but the coupe market isn't that big and I can't imagine Chevy doing too well with two RWD larger coupes off of the Zeta platform. Also, if we're talking about the Camaro and MC existing at the same time, say like in the 90's, one was FWD and one was RWD.

Now maybe if they made a Malibu two door coupe and called it a Monte Carlo, I'd be ok with it.

The era of the coupe is over. It's sports cars and 4-doors these days.

Tailfins back then had little affect. Top speeds on the superspeedways then were around 145 mph......A year later the Impala won the Daytona 500.

That's because there haven't been any competent big coupes in 20 years. BMW still sells plenty of 3 and 6 Series coupes.

You will be able to paint IMPALA on the side, COROLLA, or FUSION.. .it wont matter. Its the same thing inside.

Frankly, i may cancel my NASCAR tickets, and see about a set of season tickets to the WWF.

At least the WWF is honest about what it is.
its not the WWF, its the WWE, unless you meant you want front row seats to watch zoologists save some animals.
