GM to Urge NASCAR To Switch to Ethanol

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A newspaper report Saturday claims General Motors will recommend that NASCAR switch from gasoline to ethanol as the fuel for its racing cars.

A formal recommendation will be made to NASCAR soon, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer.

They just started running UNleaded this year!! What makes you think they'll be any quicker to run ethanol? It's not gonna happen for awhile.

if Sunoco ends up distributing E85 nationwide they'd cooperate too since theyre the ones supplyig the fuel, and at that point it would be a nice marketing gimmick, like when the motoroa cup used to run on sunoco's ULTRA 94.
