Vauxhall VXR8 Review by Fifth Gear
In case peeps didn't see this in the Regal thread...
Fifth Gear recently put up a video review of the Vauxhall Insignia VXR. They compared it to the BMW 335 and Audi S4. The car review starts at a little past the 8 min mark. http://fwd.five.tv/fifth-gear/videos...-vxr-ken-block Last edited by Ghrankenstein : 10-15-2009 at 09:42 PM. Reason: link didn't work right |

Vicki does a great job as always, it seems as though she was not that impressed with the Insignia. She seemed to love the VXR8 – wonder why ;-)
Even better was the comparison she did with the VXR8 to the old Lotus Carlton:

A modern GM 4-door 'saloon' taking on an older (then owned by GM) Lotus 4-door 'saloon'... marvelous... simply marvelous! Too bad Lotus didn't put the ZR1 motor that they had a hand in engineering in the 90's...

I watched the Insigna VXR one...pretty good, but my goodness GM Europe needs to show GM North America what real sports seats look like.

The Vauxhall Carlton, sadly would beat almost everything in GM's US lineup and probably give the Camaro a run for the money. Pretty sad.

Re: Vauxhall VXR8 Review by Fifth Gear
So they rebadge it as a vauxhall and they did take the effort to make it LHD as a Pontiac, but they don't do the favour for Opel... too bad.
