Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

This is hardly a teaser shot it's completely shadowed. The average auto enthusiast wouldn't be able to discern this car from anything else.

Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

Well it is a teaser. You can see that it has Aero-X headlamps. The real thing should be out next week.

Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

There's way too much Malibu in there for my taste. Or maybe Astra. No no, the Vibe. It definitely copies the Vibe.

Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

I am really intrigued with this car. I hope it will help bring SAAB out of its decades old funk.

Isn't that what makes it a teaser. If we could easily see what it looked like, how would it be teasing us?

Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

i'm sure the ride height says that it will be XWD (AWD), but Saab also uses X for there concepts so i guess we'll see.
I'm positive they will make a more affordable FWD base model like Audi does.At least I hope they would for the markets that don't need the AWD feature.

Also lets hope Saab has integrated new technology ie: Blue tooth, nav and USB adapter.

This 9-1 is on my short list.

Re: Saab 9-1 teaser

Can't wait to see this in person. I hope that it's a stunner.

Between this car, the new 9-4X, and a forthcoming all-new 9-5, Saab should be getting some good attention from the market.

If we can get a "9-0" in there as well to challenge cars like the Mini, A2, future Alfa Junior, etc -- like that MT article speculated -- then they'd be pretty set for the next few years and really flush out that lineup.

I think I posted before you did.

Anyway with an X can we consider a AWD. A turbocharged 300 bhp I4 AWD on the top of the line model to take on the Subaru's. Biopower 1.6 DI for the global warming people. IKEA without the assembly for the interior, all in all we could have a winner for GM.
