Refreshed Opel Logo...I think?
Still trying to figure exactly what's refreshed besides shiny metal...

It has a more sculpted design with spherical surfaces that give the emblem three-dimensional depth. Clicking the picture pulls up a larger shot. |

The "z" part of it looks thicker/fatter and more 3-dimensional. I don't know that it's better, though.

A bit more upscale. Chromed, 3D beveled edge, with Opel name...looks good.

Now, give that badge to Saturn, too. Saturn is already selling an Opel lineup. The odd Saturn logo means little to the US market, and it might be a step toward making the Opel/Vauxhall/Saturn vehicles a global brand.
The lightning bolt looks much nicer than the odd Saturn rings logo. |
