Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

I'm really impressed! I was hoping Opel would aim high and they did. It's very stylish, really is a standout. Definitely will make an awesome Aura!

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

Just for fun, does anyone want to take one of the pictures and slap a Saturn badge on?
(Hint hint to the more artistically inclined...)

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

Looks good. Love the rear and the tailights.
Heard that the headlights have some neat tech.
But I am a bit iffy with the headlights. doesn't seem like the lines flow too good.
Maybe it's just me
IDK

Love it! Nicely designed all the way through.

Unfortunately, too true. Two good things are: Cadillac's straight edges will remain distinctive longer, and the pendulum will eventually swing back.

Bangle's biggest mistake was combining panel joints with design lines, as in the 7 series trunk edges. This car doesn't do that.

Like that coupe, though for better rear seat access, the rear edge of the door needs to be moved a few, or perhaps several inches back. As a coupe, this would bring the 6 series to mind...

I think Saturn should bring it over with most of the more powerful engines

They have to, 115 HP 4 cylinder engine will never it cut it here in such a large and heavy sedan. Probably would take 15 seconds to get to 60 MPH.

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

This should sell better in the U.S. since it's a Camry wannabe...the front looks just like it with the curvature surrounding the grille and lamps, and the taillights look like a slightly reworked version of the camry's as well...i.e. cookie cutter sedan...i expected more!!!
