Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

I thought I've seen this before....

Not to say that's bad or anything... IMO, the RL's a good looking car with a bad looking pricetag.

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

Great vehicle, GM.

Now, change the headlights/taillights to match the design theme of the current AURA and OUTLOOK and bring it on over here!

I hope everyone likes it as slight skin changes and some interior bits being rearranged will create in addition to Aura the Malibu, G6, and Lax/Invicta/Regal.

This is a nice design; however, it is too elegant to be a Saturn.

Hopefully, less than two years. I'd like to see it as a 2010, GM has so many 2010 debuts coming up it's not even funny.

The freshened Opel Vectra was released for the 2006 model year, and we got our AURA as a 2007. So, it only makes sense that if the Insignia is a 2009, then we'll most likely get it as a 2010. Makes sense, right?

The new Saturn Aura comes out in 2009 as a 2010 model.

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

I really like this car. Are the interior pics available yet? If the interior looks half as good as the exterior, I will definitely consider the Aura as my next car. Now I'm crossing my fingers for turbo 2.0 as an option.

That is a great looking car! If GM was smart, they'd go ahead and bring this now! That would HAVE to stand Camry on it's ear!

Re: Opel Insignia Revealed Officially!

Definately a very well designed car looks good form all angles ive seen so far, still not sure about the rear though, i thought bangle for sure when i first saw it, but its def not ugly, will just take time to get used to it, like new malibu for me didnt like it at first but i do now.

So how does GM market it, more upscale than malibu? Arent they on same platform cause someone said earlier that this car is 5" shorter than malibu?? where does that leave Buick with there new LAX? Cant have Aura to much of a luxury car cause then how is Buick supposed to market its new car, its supposed to be entry level luxury, not being from NA it makes it confusing to see the overlap that GM makes for itself sometimes, i understand that Saturn needs vehicles to sell but with there tiny amount of dealerships it makes it hard to understand its role fully

Could we merge the threads instead of locking the other one. From the old thread.

Normal in US is 87, Super is 89, and Super Plus is 91-93. The octanes are nearly the same as in Europe, we just use a different unit measure so our numbers appear to be smaller.

Europe uses RON, we use RON+MON/2 to get AKI/RdON/PON depending on who you talk to.
