What that down by the shifter? A GM type of iDrive?

I think it looks more like a Malibu than a Camry in part of the headlights and grill. Other than that I think its a hot car!

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Love the rear end. The front... not so much. Hopefully they revise it enough for NA.

That interior is gorgeous! Man are Saturn customers in for a treat. Just hope they don't rip out the amazing options before bringing it over.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

I in the camp that think this is a step backward. There are elements of the exterior styling that are interesting, but overall I like the current model styling better. As far as the interior ... other than the red lightup gauges (I'm a Pontiac fan) I don't see anything I like about the interior. Current is much better.

Doesn't look like it. I don't think GM would invest in that kind of stuff. Just hope it isn't like the Impala shifter (with no number markings).

Also, I wish that the wood would extend into the center area instead of stopping short of the hind of the shifter

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Oh and by the way, I love how the wood wraps around the cabin.

Hopefully they don't alter the interior before giving it to us because that wouldn't bee that good. I mean they did if for the astra, why not the new Aura

A 220 HP 2.0T base engine
280 HP 2.8T
360 HP 2.8DI T RL
these are amazing, think at the beginning of the decade the top engine was what a 181 HP V6 in the L-series the plastic Aura.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Overall, I'd say it's good. I like the backend and the side, but I like the current front better than this. I'd still say it's a winner. Maybe the NA version will be slightly more aggressive on the front...

I do not think there will be any doubts that Saturn is the import-fighter when this car gets a Red Planet on it. Very nice, but not very exciting.

Also, the front is very Malibu'ish. I think its the wheels that are giving you the "Camary" look.
Agreed.

I agree the Insignia name sounds very upscale. More so than the Aura does, but the Aura already has a good reputation behind it. I'd keep it and up the reputation even more instead of starting over again with the new name. Maybe Saturn can come out with an Impala size competitor and name it the Insignia. That would be my next car; an Impala sized Saturn.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Finally GM can design nice door panels that aren't on a Caddillac!! I'm so excited!

The whole design in nothing short of fantastic!

Will our Aura get the diesel?

impressive. I see the a controller a la Audi MMI, MB and I-drive. I wonder if the Saturn Aura will also have this feature.
