Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

I am deeply disappointed. And I never liked the Battlestar Galactica interior with the eerie steering wheel. Sorry Opel.

The car leaves me wanting more. I'm over it! Now, on to the redesigned G6!

Looks about a million times better than the knockoff Aura GM came up with here.

I think it looks good. The taillights look a bit bland. I love the interior and the "iDrive?" looks interesting. I hope it works well.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

The Insignia is a big improvement compared to the current Vectra. I am happy Opel switched the name from Vectra (R.I.P.) to Insignia. Never liked the name.

Front is boring, side looks good, back end looks droopy.

They need to raise the back end and add some style to the front.

Echoing the general thoughts from paul8488/bravada/powervette; I can't really say I'm a fan.

Had the potential to be brilliant, sadly wasn't to be. One hopes other models will look marginally better.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

I don't mind the overall design of the dash and centre console... but holy buttons! I hope I never need that many options in my car! I find that a little ridiculous. What are they all for?!?

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

What is GM thinking. Look at all the European imports, they have the side repeaters in the side mirror. WHY didn't they do this for the newly launched car? They developed side mirrors like this for the Enclave so we know they aren't stupid...but really. It makes the side of the car much cleaner and the the lights on the side mirror just look more expensive (Look, well are also hah)

Other than that...I can't wait to see a car like this around the US with a Saturn badge. Looks great.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Outside is ok, but the inside reminds me of the same over use of buttons that honda and toyota do. I hope GM doesn't make this a trend with all of their cars.

I'm not sure I like all those buttons, but overall I REALLY like the car. I'd love to drive one of those with the 2.9L diesel.

This is uncharacteristic of you...liking a new GM design...I guess you ranted enough over the "new" XLR...

Very nice looking car, definitely a worthy replacement to the current AURA
