Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

mixed feelings, some Malibu/current Opel cues on the inside, some G6 on the outside. And that awkward side line...
I will have to see this car in person. Anyway it looks much more exciting than the current Vectra. I hope it looks better in person than new Mazda 6 which looked nice on pictures but in reality it looks like a beefed up Mondeo.

It definitely moves away from the crisp look of the current car. The front end especially looks a little too soft in its shapes and contours. Overall it's very handsome but not a huge leap forward. The interior at least seems to fix all of the problems with the current design.

Reminds me of the 6 series. Especially the back. Except for the fake wood the interior looks good.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if these are real promo photos, then it looks like there are some hardcore panel gaps... Promo photos should be immaculate in every regard.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Looks nice but I liked the Insignia concept much better, plus the concept version of this car was "braver" too.

I like that car a lot.
Great interior and an almost great exterior design.
If the Saturn Aura looks like this car than I just don't see how it won't seel like hotcakes!

The Steering wheel looks like its borrowed from Holden/G8
people on this site have known for quite some time that the bowtie radio will not be on newer GM models. They have shown concept drawings of interiors like the Insignias in the last year or so.

I think Lutz has already said the Aura will be nearly identical to this. I think people can rest assured the Aura will look like this.

Screen looks too small for Nav, so we'll probably see that in later pics.

Steering wheel looks ugly to me, but the rest of the interior is great, especially the center stack! And I like how the wood flows from the doors to the top of the dash. Not something I've seen before.
A similar wheel is in the Vue and Astra now.

its quite apparent people really dont pay attention to what is released on this site. You and others have been saying this for a LONG time now. This should be no surprise. The CTS shows the direction GM is moving towards with interior designs.

Cant wait to see Lacrosse interior.

It has Toyota written all over.

A handful of Camry

A pinch of IS-F for good measure

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

Rather bland, in that Euro way some folks like. And the interior has that sea of buttons that everyone is so fond of lately, too. Again, I can do without it.

It's better looking than the current Aura.

And, it does have a touch of Camry but without Toyota's ugly stick having whacked the front end.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

I dont like the car. I think the aura now is a much better looking car. If i wanted a toyota or a nissan I would have bought one. Also i dont see why you guys like the dash that much. The sea of buttons looks horrible to me. They went from an american/german look to a japanese look. No thanks.
