Yes it would be different. It would have the Saturn badge in the middle of it.

This is a very European look that won't attract many Americans not used to or resent European design. And that is exactly what Saturn needs to distance itself from the very American Chevrolet!!!!!
Yup-- you got it. Saturn's role always been for the import intenders.

Well, no. IT's not too good to come to American. The car looks to good to come to America -- as a GM car!

Wow the current Aura sucks compared to this! This thing is like sex on wheels!

CobaltSS
Looks hot, but I wouldn't describe it as sex on wheels. I'd reserve that moniker for the CTS coupe. This is more like a lap dance on wheels.

I wish it didn't have that chrome outlining the entire side of the greenhouse. Perhaps it will be blacked out for an OPC/VXR/Red Line version.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

I think this car looks outstanding. Especially the rearend. Wow! However, I worry that even if GM could give Saturn a Mercedes S class clone for $18,000, Saturn would only be able sell 8,000 of them per year. I fear GM neglected Saturn dealers too long and they are having a hard time just holding on.....

Very nicely styled car but will GM let the Aztek styling department screw it up for the US market?

The Steering wheel looks like its borrowed from Holden/G8
You will see with the new LaCrosse just how serious GM is about having unique switchgear in every product. The LaCrosse switchgear makes Honda's "integrated" switchgear look like non-integrated...

The steering wheel is very different from the G8's.

This is a global car. Meaning, Saturn and Opel had a hand in the design for their respective markets. I expect changes to be minimal to nil.

Not loving it... I find the current Aura much cleaner. Hope it looks sleeker in person.

Re: Official? Pics of Insignia Leaked

What's the knob near the center armrest? GM's iDrive? shudder...

Screen looks too small for Nav, so we'll probably see that in later pics.

Steering wheel looks ugly to me, but the rest of the interior is great, especially the center stack! And I like how the wood flows from the doors to the top of the dash. Not something I've seen before.
