Instead, it's wasting money on so-so, half-decent, passable products. Saabaru? 9-7x? Turbo X? Lifted 9-3? Come on. I don't think GM is really trying.

Re: New SAAB 9-3 Offroad version
Now to those idiots who like to pee on Saab's fire everytime we see something new and call them a moneypit. Why not think about all those Turbo charged GM vehicles running around now. or the e85 vehicles.
And if you want to talk about a real money pit, then look no further than Cadillac in Europe. How many billions has GM wasted there huh? I've seen this car in the flesh and it looks like the car was initially designed that way. A very good job done. |

Saab has a long history of building vehicles equipped with turbo-charged 4-cylinders. Why not advertise Saab as the fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly alternative to BMW or even Mercedes? I have recently seen BMW commercials in which they brag that they as a company are experienced in building vehicles that are fuel-efficient because they were developed in Europe where the price of fuel has traditionally been sky high. Yeah, sure they are fuel efficient. I'm sure that is why most BMW owners purchased their BMWs. |
