Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Beautiful. Kept the design intact, and added hatchbackness without adding goofy rear bulges.

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Wow, you can barely see a difference between the sedan and hatchback model. Pretty good job on GM's part. Now let's see the Aura...preferably still with 33 MPG or more. And a diesel. A diesel Aura would be kickassical.

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Perhaps this is the reason for the hold on the Aura? Maybe they're adding the tooling to give it a hatch option? That'd be cool.
Hey, it's Thursday...whatever happened to the speculation/rumor we were supposed to get confirmed on Monday regarding the stoppage on the Aura? Hmmm? Hmmm?

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Wow. That is a beautiful car. I think the styling is better than the current BMW 3 series. GM, don't touch the design... obviously you're going to change the badge and then you can drop one off at my front door. No incentives necessary on this one, it looks good enough that it will sell itself. You could put the Cadillac badge on that car... Saturn (aura of course), Buick... I don't care, just let me buy one just like that! (Sedan or Hatchback would be fine)

An Aura with a diesel would be great. If it was offered here in the States it would be at the top of my list when it comes time to replace my sedan. |

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Stunning....and those wheels are real lookers too. I think the stealth grey color makes the car look even more ritzy and upscale.

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
It is a beautiful design. I think that's the main reason Americans haven't liked hatch's in the past because they're typically on less than desireable cars. I like the utility (believe it or not) of the hatch on my 'Vette and did on previous Camaro's I've owned. Those were the only Hatch's I've had other than SUV's for that reason alone. Nobody wants an ugly car.

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
I like the sedan more (eventually the hatch will start to squeak), but this car looks great. Great work GM.
How well did the hatchback Mazda6 sell here? |

Re: Heres the Insignia Hatchback
Very nice - actually prefer this to the sedan. Much sportier looking and yet elegant too. Hopefully coming to the Saturn dealership "near some of us" as soon as initially planned.
