Re: GM's Opel to bring out all-electric car at end of 2010
Here comes Delta II. It can't get here fast enough.
Hopefully Epsilon II and Gamma II are E-Flex capable as well. |

Re: GM's Opel to bring out all-electric car at end of 2010
This is pretty interesting. I wonder if GM in North America is thinking about bringing an electric car, like this Opel, here to the states in a "small car form". I guess the Volt will be a medium sized car, probably the size of the current Prius.

Opel is developing an electric car. Opel = Saturn in US = EV1? I'm going to look into this..

I agree with the forgetfulness though...2009 is the debut date for Camaro, and I've almost completely forgotten about it already. |

They definitely have to bring this to market sooner, either that or the Volt and the Opel need to find ways to stay in the news for the next 3 years... and I don't mean by just announcing what is to come.

In my opinion a hybrid uses two sources of power to turn the wheels. E-flex uses one source of power. And it doesn't even need gas. Without the ICE E-flex would be an electric car and would still continue to work and function (It would just be range limited). I don't consider this a hybrid. It would be like calling a dual fuel propane - gas vehicle a hybrid and it's not.
