Agreed! Call it a Saturn, call it a Pontiac, or call it Opel. Doesn't matter. Just make it available to us with all the good options and transmissions the Europeans get, and I'll buy it.

I agree. It should read Opel/Vauxhall Insignia wins European car of the year. Regardless of the fact it is a company under GM this title almost lessens the achievement for the Opel/Vauxhall team.

I don't believe that the title would read this way if a Chevrolet won the USA car of the year.

Anyway congratulations to Opel and Vauxhall for doing what other brands under this company really struggle to do... build great cars.
